Brooke Jean hails from Los Angeles and is paving the way for young female artists like herself who’s musical truth lies in poetry. Her latest EP, A Poet’s Intuition combines spoken word & smooth a’capella with a timeless soulful/jazzy/hip-hop/r&b vibe. The first time I heard the EP, it blew my mind away, as Brooke’s rhythmic and serene voice commands every track. A Poet’s Intuition is amazing and an instant classic even though it’s short and sweet. But, I guess that’s kind of the point….it’ll leave you wanting more!
